Participant Attendance & Transfer Policy

Payment Terms

Private group training reserves instructor time, equipment, training materials, and training resources exclusively for your organization. Public course seats are limited and available for individual registration.

If a participant from a private group requires training in a public course because they did not attend the scheduled group session, a separate public course registration fee will apply, as the participant is occupying a seat that could otherwise be sold to another registrant.

Invoices are payable according to the terms stated on the invoice. Full payment is required prior to the scheduled training date unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Participant Attendance and Billing

The Company is responsible for ensuring that all registered participants attend the scheduled private group training session.

Private group training is scheduled and priced based on the number of participants confirmed at the time of booking. The invoiced amount remains unchanged regardless of participant attendance. Participants who are absent, arrive too late to participate, leave before completing the course, or are otherwise unable to complete the training will not reduce the amount invoiced to the Company.

Participants who do not attend the scheduled training and require certification at a later date may register for a public course at I Res-Q U, Inc., subject to seat availability. The current public course registration fee of $155.00 + GST per participant will apply.

Participant Substitutions

Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional charge, provided I Res-Q U, Inc. is notified before the scheduled training date.

For blended learning courses, participant substitutions are only permitted before the assigned participant has accessed or started the online learning component. Once the online course has been accessed, it is assigned to that individual and cannot be transferred or substituted.

Participant Transfers to a Public Course

Participants who do not attend their scheduled private group training, arrive too late to participate, or do not successfully complete the course may register for a regularly scheduled public course at the I Res-Q U, Inc. training facility, subject to seat availability.

The current public course registration fee of $155.00 + GST per participant will apply. This fee must be paid before the participant is registered into a public course.

Transfer requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed for a specific date.

Blended Learning Courses

For blended learning programs, all required online learning must be completed before attending the in-person skills session.

Participants who arrive without completing the required online component will not be permitted to participate in the practical session. They will be required to register for another course and pay the current public course registration fee of $155.00 + GST.

Exceptional Circumstances

I Res-Q U, Inc. understands that genuine emergencies can occur. Requests for exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of I Res-Q U, Inc. Approval of an exception for one participant does not establish a precedent for future requests.

Acknowledgement

By booking private group training, the Company acknowledges that it has read, understands, and agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement, including the attendance, substitution, transfer, and payment policies
