Frequently Asked Questions

Can the training be at our workplace?

Your facility can be used.  There has to be enough room for the participants to sit and room for CPR practice.

I Res-Q U can bring a screen and projector or can use the facility’s equipment for the presentation portion

5-18 participants can attend.  Under 5 will have to register on the public registration page.

If a participant is unable to attend, arrives too late, or is unable to complete the required training, the company’s invoice remains unchanged. The participant may transfer to a future public course, subject to availability, at the current public-course registration fee of $155 + GST, payable before registration.

If a company needs to substitute another employee, substitutions are allowed at no additional charge when I Res-Q U is notified before the training. For blended-learning courses, substitutions cannot be made once the original participant has accessed the online portion.

Please have the participants that have completed the online portion bring the certificate of completion.  A picture is fine.

  • Before the scheduled training date: substitutions are allowed at no additional charge, as long as I Res-Q U is notified.
  • Blended-learning courses: the substitution must happen before the original participant accesses or starts the online course. Once they access it, it cannot be transferred.
  • Once training has started: substitutions are no longer permitted.
  • If someone misses the training and wants to take it later, they can register for a public course, subject to availability, at the current $155 + GST public-course fee.

Yes, when registration is received the participant will receive an email from the Red Cross to access the online portion.  Please make sure to notify your participants to look for the email.  They may need to check their spam.  If they have not- received it, contact I Res-Q U at 403-618-3954 to have it resent.
