Ruth is amazing. She is also very jovial and experienced in her teaching. She makes the class teachings both theoretical and practicum areas very interesting.i would highly recommend to join her courses.

Was definitely the best first aid course I have been to. Her past on the job experiences/knowledge made this an excellent course to take. Will go back again for sure.

Ruth comes to her class with a wealth of experience that is both interesting as well as eye openers that make you think about your approach to First Aid. Ruth teaches in a professional manner yet with a fun aspect which makes the whole First Aid course an enjoyable experience. She is the best teacher I have personally had and with the feedback that has come from our other team members that have had the pleasure of attending her class, makes it a certainty she will be our First Aid instructor for now and in the future. Look no further! You want to take your Red Cross training with Ruth. She is the most engaging instructor I have ever been taught by. I’m not going to lie, I was dreading having to recertify but I really enjoyed the day! Her space is set up way better than larger facilities I’ve been to. This woman knows her stuff and she’ll make sure that you do too. Don’t hesitate…book with Ruth!

Ruth is the best instructor. This first aid material could easily be a dry and boring course but Ruth made it so fun and makes you want to pay attention. She uses her own experiences coupled with the Red Cross’ course material to make you feel very confident in providing first aid when you’ve finished the course. Prior to taking the course I emailed some questions and Ruth always responded very quickly and was very helpful and friendly. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would!

Ruth is absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, great stories and has all the tools so you know you are doing it right. This is my second recertification with her and will be back!

I echo all of the sentiments of the previous reviews. Ruth is a really one of a kind instructor. Her previous work experience (medic, law enforcement) gives her a ton of credibility and brings the first aid/CPR material to life. She is down to earth, straightforward and gives you a crystal clear picture of just how important this subject is. I have attended numerous training sessions during the course of my career but this one was memorable. Don’t change one thing Ruth, this recipe works. Thanks for the life lessons.

I had to re-certify my first aid and CPR and Ruth was fantastic. Shes an engaging teacher and gifted at getting the important points across. The time went quickly and I left feeling way more prepared to handle emergencies. I highly recommend her classes.

Outstanding class!! If you don’t love Ruth by thirty minutes into the class then you have real issues. She keeps the class so interesting and refreshing. She has the funniest craziest expressions I wish I had a tape recorder so I could remember some ofthem. But forget about the entertainment part of the class she is very knowledgeable and goes through everything very thoroughly . I can’t imagine any other place being as good as hers. .

we as a company took the course a couple months ago with Ruth , the training we received was fantastic Ruth made it fun and also gave us the confidence we can do it, my wife and i were first on scene of a bad accident
we both took controal of each vehicle and passengers until EMS , fire and police arrived. Ruth gave me the confidence that i could do it.

Ruth is an exceptional lady. From the moment she starts speaking its obvious she has a tremendous heart and has experienced many exceptional things. She has taken her amazing life experiences and incorporated them into not only an effective teaching method, but an enjoyable learning environment. Easily my favorite First Aid course! Ruth is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, engaging, and fun.
Ruth has many hands on props to practice with, some of which I’ve never used before, like the vests for practicing the heimlick maneuver.

This was by far the best first aid training experience Ive had. Ruth is an incredible instructor with a tremendous amount of experience which helps with the material throughout the course. She had a great way of explaining everything and keeping the students intrigued and engaged the entire class. Ruth was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and funny. Course registration was very easy and Ruth responded to emails and phone calls very quickly. I highly recommend I Res-Q U for your First Aid Training!

I took the first aid course and this was THE BEST COURSE AND EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. The blended course offers online and in person training. Ruth has a beautiful course space with all the things you could ever need for the day, even if you forgot a hair tie. The rescue mannequins were very life like and the other practise rescue items (like the choking demonstration) gave me a great sense of how it really would feel to deliver the proper pressure to save a life. I have never had this kind of experience at any other (and I have done many) first aid training courses. Many other services and resources are available and offered through i res q u and Ruth is happy to assist in teaching and promoting life saving lessons for many different age groups. 10/10 I highly recommend!

I took a CPR-C + AED course yesterday (Saturday) and I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a home based business with pets in the house (seriously, who doesn’t love seeing a beautiful dog?). I was not expecting such an amazing and passionate instructor. Ruth is one hell of a great lady. Strong, fun, great personality and teacher – a diverse background as a paramedic and in the police service. The environment is welcoming, she offers classes on weekends (umm…convenient, much?). I have to recertify CPR-C annually – I will definitely be back.

I did my CPR AED HCP with Ruth today. I have been recertified in this course many times, this being the best experience thus far. This is a home based business that offers professionalism and equality. Ruth was energetic, fun, and had a great knowledge base. I will definitely be returning and will recommend this business to everyone!
