I started my career in the United States Army in 1974 as a Military Police Officer and then the Colorado State Patrol in 1980. In the patrol is when I first started emergency medicine.
I was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician in Colorado, Idaho and California which I did for 12 years. I upgraded to Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic in California and worked for 6 years before joining the Colorado Department of Corrections.
As a Security Lieutenant, I taught the CPR/First Aid classes for the American Red Cross for 8 years within the prison facility. I moved to Canada and started I Res-Q U, Inc!
